Dogs

brambleWhilst we allow dogs, on leads, in the gardens during the summer months our tea-rooms are not large enough to allow them in without risks to the safety of other members of the public, the dogs themselves and, of course, our staff.

Where guide dogs are involved, we do have a separate function room which could be made available subject to our being ntified in advance so that the heating can be put on.

Our ability to control the content of external websites is very limited and in this instance the ‘dog friendly’ information is correct for 60% of the year. I would add that our car park is on site and that during the colder months  we find that the majority of dog owners are content to leave their animals in the car (water bowls are available if required) whilst they have their refreshments.

Being dog owners ourselves we appreciate the issues involved, but would not consider taking our dog inside an eating establishment.
